Order online or call toll free 866-441-7225.....more details below: Here we demonstrate how to permanently attach a fork mount block bike carrier rack, specifically the Thule 821 Low Rider or a Thule 821XT Locking Low Rider to a sheet metal surface, typically a truck bed or truck bed tool box. We have found that the Thule BedRider is the very best choice for it's superior stability due to the wide base and the four mounting holes versus only two found on all other fork blocks on the market. We use a special fastener set only available through Rack Outfitters. We has assembled the individual fasteners to make an ideal set that is both strong and secure. As mentioned in the video, the special toggle nut requires a hole of 25/64" and so you'll need a drill bit of that size and a 1/4" bit for pilot holes. Of course, before you do any drilling be sure you have done a test fit with your bicycle to insure all your bicycle has all clearance it needs between it and the sides of the truck bed and cab. Also make sure that you have appropriate space between the first bike and a second or third bike. Follow the steps in the video and you'll have a very secure attachment that's custom, clean and simple. Go to www.RackOutfitters (dot) com to order, just do a site search for "Blind Fasteners".
